Eagerly awaited and now a reality, Soundcraft’s first large-format digital
live desk, the Soundcraft Vi6™ console is in fact already ahead of the
pack, being third-generation thanks to a joint development with sister console
company Studer. The console is heralded as the first in a wide range of digital
consoles to come from Soundcraft over the next two years. It features 64 mono
inputs into 35 outputs. Pairs of mono inputs can be linked to create stereo
channels. All 64 input channels can have direct outputs in addition to their
internal bus routing, using an optical MADI card.
